Please Note: It has come to our attention that a fake website that purports to be Conister Bank Limited has been created using our logo and is trying to convince people to register for an online account and inserting bank account information. This is not a genuine Conister Bank Limited website or linked to us in any way. Please do not complete and submit your details through this fraudulent website. The bogus website address details are as follows:

This bogus website requests customers to enter their confidential, personal and financial information to register for an account. This approach is a 'phishing scam' whereby the fraudsters are attempting to gain personal data in order to steal their identity or to tempt the recipient into becoming a victim of an advance fee fraud.

Conister Bank Limited would never ask for personal security information online.

If you believe you have had any dealing with this bogus website, we recommend you take the following action:

• Do not give the bogus company any money. Conister Bank Limited will never ask for upfront fees.
• If you have given any of your bank details, please contact Conister Bank as soon as practicable on 01624 694694, and your own bank to block any possible withdrawals.
• If you are based in the Isle of Man, contact the Enforcement Division of the Financial Services Authority on 01624 689311 or by email to iomfsa@gov.im for advice.
• If you are based in the UK, contact the Financial Conduct Authority on 0800 111 6768 (Freephone) or 0300 500 8082 from the UK or +44 207 066 1000 from abroad for advice.
• If you have paid funds to the bogus entity, you should contact your local police fraud unit without delay.
